A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by a lady, Roma, on holiday in Pontremoli, Italy who was desperate to save a mother cat and her kittens from being drowned by the local farmer's wife. To cut a long and complex story short, the kittens have now been saved and are being fostered by wonderful ex-pat Juliet Stavely who has also taken then to the vet and is paying for all their care out of her own pocket. They need new homes asap and you can read all about them HERE.
In the meantime, if you would like to make a small (or large!) donation via Paypal for their upkeep (all money going to the cats' care or to local pet charity) then you can donate here to Gatti Lunigiana. Thank you!
