If you are thinking of getting a puppy or adult dog, then please consider one of these lovely homeless dogs in Italy looking for new owners. If you can't adopt, please tell as many people as you can about this page. If you do decide to get one then let me know and I will post the happy ending on the adopted page of the blog. Nothing would make me more pleased.
NINE PUPS IN CALABRIA NEED HOMES URGENTLY: AUGUST 1, 2011
GREAT NEWS !! SEPT 20 2011 - SEVEN PUPS HAVE NOW FOUND HOMES. BUT TWO ARE STILL WAITING...
Nine beautiful puppies looking for homes in SAN LUCIDO, Calabria. They are about eight weeks old and expected to make the size of a Labrador. A couple living there who already have two male dogs took in the very pregnant Mum and she promptly gave birth.
Clearly these very kind and warm-hearted people can't look after 12 dogs and so their granddaughter Francesca has contacted me to see if Pets in Italy readers can help. There are eight males and one female puppies (pic 2).
Calabria is not the easiest place to find homes for abandoned dogs but even if you don't live in the region, don't let that put you off. I'm sure they could go to anywhere in Italy that offered them a safe and loving home as long as you can come and get them.
