Another Happy Ending!

Kaden and FoxyWell, will you just look at this? Do you remember my appeal for a new home for Foxy the tiny pup left at the door of Linda and her family in Abruzzo? They were travelling back to the UK and couldn't keep her.

The story was seen by Patrizia, whose lovely story about adopting canile inmate Kaden got so many great responses recently.

Patrizia being ther generous soul she is said she would take Foxy and Linda and her family drove the little pup up to Como yesterday. After tearful farewells, Linda handed Foxy to her new owners.

So now we have the first photo of Kaden and Foxy together and Patrizia says "Kaden is incredible with her, so patient even though she wont leave him alone,
poor boy!"

I think the picture says it all, doesn't it?

  2. Hi Linda
Glad you got home safe and sound. I am so pleased to have helped you get in touch with Trish and that Foxy has a fabulous new home. I am getting regular pictures and reports too so I can see how she is getting on. She is TINY isn’t she?
Thanks for your kind words about the site. It means a lot and if you can please spread the word among anyone you know likely to be interested in adopting a homeless dog from Italy, that would be wonderful.

  3. Thank you very much Fiona for your wonderful website, without which lovely sweet Foxy would not have found such a fantastic new home.Trish is just wonderful we couldn’t be happier for dear Foxy.It was a sad moment handing her over as we had grown to care very much for her over the short time we looked after her.But after meeting Trish & her husband I knew Foxy was going to be ok with a new life.we will also be keeping in touch with Trish with updates on progress.
Thank you again for all the hard work.
    Linda

  4. Thanks Lee. I view the site as a link in a chain or the hub of a network of people. The real heroes are those who save and rescue the dogs and take them into their homes.

Well Fiona, thats another fine mess you got me into. No only joking!!!!!!!!!!!! Foxy is a little sweetie and it has already made Kaden more sociable as he feels he must now protect her. Sorry the date on the photo is wrong, silly me didnt set the camera ( yet another senior moment, oh dear!). Good luck with your other dogs, especially LUIS AND THE LITTLE ONE IN THE WHEELCHAIR!!!!
